On the trail of nitrate

The Chamber of Agriculture North Rhine-Westphalia (LWK) has published a brochure on the subject of avoiding nitrate discharge from agricultural soils. In the brochure, an initial summary is drawn up of various groundwater-conserving cultivation methods in agriculture and horticulture. The data, that was collected with the help of our measurement technology, should help the LWK to better understand the relationships between the various conservation methods and, through the agricultural advice, improve the #Groundwater protection and thus the #drinkingwater supply within the scope of the WFD (EU Water Framework Directive).
