Experimental design (Concept: SUBSOM)
- Field experiment with observation well, depth 2 m, 1,6 m
- Leachate with multi-segment suction plates
- Spatial acquisition and quantification of finger and macropore flow
- Soil water extraction with glass suction cups (DOC; DIC)
- Horizontal installation into undisturbed soil
- Measuring depths of 10, 50 & 150 cm
- Soil gas sampling using Teflon filters (permanent installation)
